Steer clear if you have a boy!
Where do I start? I took a chance ordering this one as it is brand new on the market and I couldn't find any reviews on it yet anywhere. However, the horn in it that's supposed to keep baby from slipping under really appealed to me, because my 9-month-old son has recently developed a fear of the water after flailing and slipping under the water once about a month ago. My husband was right there to catch him, but it was a scary enough experience for him that he now screams whenever we put him in the tub. I thought the smaller tub with the horn in it would help him to feel more secure. He still screams as soon as he hears the water running, so it didn't work. But that's beside the point. The first time I put my son in this thing, I noticed that the part where you put the baby so the horn holds him in place is entirely too narrow for any baby who is old enough to be sitting up unsupported. Especially boys! The horn was squishing him! I mean like not all of him would fit behind...

Bathtub works great for an unsteady baby
I have a boy and I've used this tub since he was 9 months old. The "squishing" isn't really that big a deal. it doesn't bother him at all. When he got too big to fit in the narrower portion , we just moved him to the other side of the horn. It works great as a buffer in our large jacuzzi tub as he feels more secure in it and we also use less water to fill the tub for him to splash in.
It is easy to clean and inflate. It takes me a couple minutes to inflate manually and the seal holds pretty well.
It is easy to deflate and stores compactly. I took it with me to travel and it fit compactly in my suitcase.
So disappointed.....! :-(
I was so very excited to get this product bc it seemed perfect for my daughter. Although a few of the reviews weren't the best, many ppl seemed happy with the product and I am more of an optimist, so figured it would be great. As soon as I received this tub, I got it out and started blowing it up bc I was so excited to use it that night. WELL, as soon as I got in inflated, I tried to close the valve but it WOULD NOT stay in and kept popping right out and releasing all of the air. I kept trying and it was no use, it just popped right out every single time. It was as if the plug wasn't large enough to 'cork' the opening, so it just popped out and air escaped. I tried the other to valves and the SAME thing happened to them! I even tried putting duck tape over the valves and it worked for a little bit until I was putting a bit of pressure on the other valve trying to get it closed and so the taped one started leaking too. I was so disappointed and so frustrated that I had wasted all that...
