In the garbage
This seat is now sitting in the garbage in JFK airport terminal 5 bathroom. it didn't even make it through security.
Three attempts with a small, light 3 year old girl:
1. Seat slides out of the way, butt in water, screaming 3 yr old
2. Extra careful and super conservative successful attempt. All the way both daddy and daughter held our breath
3. Seat again slide sout of the way, butt in water, screaming 3 yr old.
After the third attempt, the seat went in the garbage with the wipes used to dry her off.
This thing is cheap and light and doesn't make anyone feel secure, but the big issue is that there is nothing to keep it on the seat. It needs something to hold itself securely on the toilet seat.
Disaster. do not buy it

Portable potty seat that doesn't work on public toilets
I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter (37 lbs) to use while we were out in public. I hoped it would ease her fear of the big, public, toilets. It doesn't stay in place on the public seats. I finally threw it away after it slipped off completely with her nearly falling into the toilet. The folds also pinched her butt. I could see this seat working in a private home with a "normal" toilet bowl.
I don't understand why they wouldn't make "to go" product to fit the plumbing in most "to go" places.
Convenient!
This potty seat helps my daughter feel safe and secure on any potty. She doesn't get scared that she's going to fall in, and every potty has a familiar "face". I can fold it up, stick it in a plastic grocery bag, shove it in my purse, and wipe it off another time - at home or in the car. It's always ready to go.
My one concern is that we've only been using it for about a month, and the back hinge seems to give a little when she sits on it altough she weighs only 29 lbs. It will be a sad day if that snaps and she goes plunging into the toilet. For now it seems that it's just the give of the plastic, but I would be cautious if you have a larger child!
