Saved us!
I'm one of those horrible moms that lets her baby take every nap in the swing. :) we have the my little lamb cradle and swing (which i'm pretty sure was sent from heaven), but medical issues have caused us to have to spend lots of time at my parents house and our big swing was NOT going to go back and forth with us. So, we bought this little swing. I LOVE it. I was worried that some of the other swings wouldn't recline far enough and my baby wouldn't be able to fall asleep them, so I bought this one because I thought it looked like it would lay him back pretty far. He loves it and sometimes sleeps for 2 hours in it. (some of the other little swings i read about had timers that made them shut off after an hour...this would not be cool!) This one will go on forever :) He is 4 months and weighs 13 pounds and we use it on the lowest speed setting. I think it goes plenty fast, but of course I'm wanting him to sleep.

The only things I don't like:
-the little thing that hangs...

Fisher-Price Swing Seat
Our three month old son has loved this swing since he came home from the hospital. He can work himself into a loud fuss that no food, rocking, diaper changes, temperature changes, etc. can calm, then quickly calm himself to sleep after being placed in the swing for a few short minutes.

In regards to the earlier review, our swing does vary significantly in speed and rate of swing from lowest to highest settings.

One note of caution: during assembly of the swing body, it is easy to over-tighten the screws. In an attempt to ensure that the seat was securely assembled, I tightened a screw completely thorough one of the interlocking plastic seat pieces.

One of the best baby products I own!
I have a small home so I did not have an option of getting a big swing. I registered for this and have been using it successfully with my little one for two months (I have not even had to change the batteries yet). Now that I have it, I cannot imagine having anything else (i.e., a large stationary swing and separate bouncer), regardless of my house size. One of the things that I love about this is that it is portable - I can even move it around when my daughter is in it. I have moved it from the kitchen table, to the back deck, to my bedroom, to the living room....wherever I go in the house I can move it so that I can see her. The other great thing is that if she gets fussy when it's swinging, I can switch it immediately to vibrating. I can't imagine having to take a fussy baby out of it and move her to a different seat just to see if she wants the vibrations.

Some people have complained that the swing is too fast. If you just swing it without a baby in it, it seems...

Do not buy this for a boy-VERY SHARP
I have a 3 year old son who ended up having to get 11 stitches on his penis because of how sharp this potty seat is. The inside seam, where the top & the bottom molds of the potty seat connect, has a very sharp strip. You'll see it/feel it if you have one.

Anyhow he jumped off cause he was excited that he had gone & then immediately began to scream. I guess his skin got ripped as it scraped against the sharp strip. We spent the day in the emergency room. No parent, yet alone a poor little boy should have to go through this.

Overall a great potty seat.
My son really likes this seat. The foam pads on the bottom keep it from slipping so it doesn't really move when he sits down. He also like holding on to the handles (I guess it's a security thing). The built in shield in the front isn't very tall, but we haven't had any problems with it. My son gets on and off easily which he might not be able to do with a bigger shield. The only reason I'm giving it 4 start instead of 5 is that's it's a little harder to clean than the one piece seats. You have to take it apart to clean between the two pieces. It's not difficult to do though. The two pieces just snap apart, you clean them, then you snap them back together. This is clearly explained in the instructions, so if you read them you won't have any problems with the odors the other reviewer complained about.

In regards to the reviewer whose son cut himself on the seat... I just carefully checked my son's seat and there are no sharp edges anywhere. We also have this seat...
Urine Catcher
This toilet seat may sit on your toilet and look nice (they can sit comfortably and hold on) the only problem is, it catches quite a bit of the urine between the two pieces. Definitely not worth it. Might as well have a little potty to clean up instead.

Best training seat for boys!
boys tend to "spray" when sitting, but this blocks that really well!! We have the Sesame Street seat at my mother's house for him, and he always sprays with that and it is so annoying. this seat is inexpensive but does the job!

Recommend you look elsewhere
This seat is very hard and leaves marks on my toddler's bum. I had to go ahead and buy a cushioned one so she might actually stay on the toilet for more than a few seconds. It certainly hasn't helped with potty training, and due it my daughter's discomfort, it may have hindered it. On the flip side, it seems easy to keep clean (though she hasn't actually gone to the bathroom on it yet!).
WORKS GREAT!!
I had first overlooked this style and chose a cartoon character style seat for my duaghter. My duaghter loved the cartoon on it but the seat itself was horrible. It would slide around a lot and she was scared to use it. This seat is the real deal. There are no pretty pictures on it, it just works. It grips the seat very well and does not slide around. I would recomend this to anyone looking for a toilet seat trainer. One thing to keep in mind is that it would probably be a bit long for the "female only" toilets installed in some apartments by contractors.

great for SMALL CAR
i drive a 2 door hyundai accent and do not wish to own a bigger vehicle. so, when my son out grew his infant seat and i started looking for the next step...i was shocked! car seats are made with bigger SUV/mini van type vehicles in mind. i wanted a britax but couldn't find one that would fit in my car! at first, i was so bummed when i realized that this was the only one that would fit but it didn't take long for me to realize that this car seat is as good as any of the ones that are three times as expensive.
when i had the car seat checked, i was told by the professional car seat checker (haha) that the difference between models is really superficial and more about "appearing" more safe by adding extra padding. this car seat is light weight, easy to install, and leaves room in the back seat for another passenger. my only (small) disappointment was that when the car seat is rear facing, the seat that it is behind will not go all the way back. with a small car like mine...

more room for my little fatty.
Just received this seat from amazon.com and its pretty darn nice. We were originally looking at the air convertible 65. That seat costs $179-$200 in some places!!!! I wanted to justify buying the $180 car seat that looked just plain bad-ass....But I couldn't. After lots of research I discovered that ALL car seats sold in this country meet or exceed federal guidelines for child safety....Keep in mind, these guidelines are rarely updated and vehicle technology/structure has drastically changed in the last 20-30 years. Long story short, guidelines aren't hard to conform to. If they were car seats would cost lots more dough, and we would have fewer choices. Y'know, it would threaten the car seat industry :/

For the money I feel its a square deal. Its a nice car seat, more open for my kid to look around. It seems to be far more comfy than her first seat which she had outgrown, she's pretty chubby(more to love & protect). I actually...
Wonderful car seat - pain in the back to install
Now, this is the thirteenth car seat I have installed for my children (this is my third child). I have never had a car seat that was "easy" to install but this one was particularly difficult. The way the latch is desinged, when you are kneeling on the seat you need to pull the strap straight back towards you but you can't because of the side of the car seat. If you look at the picture near the legs it is very deep which is great for safety but makes the installation very difficult.
