Maybe better for older babies
I received this tub as a gift. It's very cute though not very practical for a newborn. The "sling" is more like an ironing board that can lay flat or at an incline. My baby isn't cradled in it at all like I assumed. It stays flat when it's on incline causing my baby to keep sliding down with every little movement she makes. Also, it slides around in the tub. It makes it a little difficult to bathe her while I'm constantly having to move her back up so her head is on the pillow and her little legs aren't all scrunched up at the bottom. So bath time isn't very relaxing for either of us, I just get her clean as quickly as I can and get her out. Hopefully when she's able to sit up on her own, we can use the mesh sling flat in the tub as a seat so she won't slide around and bath time will become more fun for us. (My baby is currently 5 weeks old)

Not safe for newborns
The structure that supports the baby is not sturdy and slides all over the place, leaving baby sliding against the hard plastic. Unsafe and cheap material.
