PROS:

size - Relatively small so uses very little water, and doesn't take up much space in our small apartment

contented baby - Our baby is happy at bathtime in the pod, he's four months old and 16 lbs, and still fits well. However, we never tried a different bath so we don't know if the pod is the reason for his comfort

inexpensive - compared to an infant bath tub this is definitely cheaper

CONS:

Plastic smell - When I opened it, it had a terribly strong chemical smell, ESPECIALLY the little pad. I am glad I opened it before the baby arrived because it needed to be washed and aired out literally for weeks to make the smell go away. Not a good first impression.

head control issues - there's nothing supporting your baby's head, you must have your hand on it at all times in such a way that you're controlling the weight and keeping it from going in any direction. This is really hard to do one-handed. So you really could...
