Saved us!
I'm one of those horrible moms that lets her baby take every nap in the swing. :) we have the my little lamb cradle and swing (which i'm pretty sure was sent from heaven), but medical issues have caused us to have to spend lots of time at my parents house and our big swing was NOT going to go back and forth with us. So, we bought this little swing. I LOVE it. I was worried that some of the other swings wouldn't recline far enough and my baby wouldn't be able to fall asleep them, so I bought this one because I thought it looked like it would lay him back pretty far. He loves it and sometimes sleeps for 2 hours in it. (some of the other little swings i read about had timers that made them shut off after an hour...this would not be cool!) This one will go on forever :) He is 4 months and weighs 13 pounds and we use it on the lowest speed setting. I think it goes plenty fast, but of course I'm wanting him to sleep.

The only things I don't like:
-the little thing that hangs...

Fisher-Price Swing Seat
Our three month old son has loved this swing since he came home from the hospital. He can work himself into a loud fuss that no food, rocking, diaper changes, temperature changes, etc. can calm, then quickly calm himself to sleep after being placed in the swing for a few short minutes.

In regards to the earlier review, our swing does vary significantly in speed and rate of swing from lowest to highest settings.

One note of caution: during assembly of the swing body, it is easy to over-tighten the screws. In an attempt to ensure that the seat was securely assembled, I tightened a screw completely thorough one of the interlocking plastic seat pieces.

One of the best baby products I own!
I have a small home so I did not have an option of getting a big swing. I registered for this and have been using it successfully with my little one for two months (I have not even had to change the batteries yet). Now that I have it, I cannot imagine having anything else (i.e., a large stationary swing and separate bouncer), regardless of my house size. One of the things that I love about this is that it is portable - I can even move it around when my daughter is in it. I have moved it from the kitchen table, to the back deck, to my bedroom, to the living room....wherever I go in the house I can move it so that I can see her. The other great thing is that if she gets fussy when it's swinging, I can switch it immediately to vibrating. I can't imagine having to take a fussy baby out of it and move her to a different seat just to see if she wants the vibrations.

Some people have complained that the swing is too fast. If you just swing it without a baby in it, it seems...

First Time mom loves tub
I had my first baby in June and had seen this tub online at [...]. I decided to order off Amazon.com since I have always had a good experience with the site. The tub arrived promptly and its wonderful! Great for little princesses, very durable and I love the hook that is attached so you can hang it up on your shower curtain rail. Makes it much easier to store the tub. The accessories are cute and the tub also has a stopper that you can plug and unplug to fill the tub and then to drain the water. Lastly at the bottom there is also a little thermometer to tell if the water temp is okay for the baby. Great product and I would recommend it to anyone.

great tub
I have a 1 month old and she loves taking baths in this tub. It works well and so far we've had no problems with it. It is much more durable than some of the other tubs we've seen on the market and in my opinion is worth the money.
Love How It Can Span into Toddlerhood
This bath tub is tooo cute! I love how it works from infancy to toddler. So many of the other tubs we saw would not work well past 6 months or so. Also alot of tubs had a part or two that was metal and some said they had rust issues. This one is all plastic.

Really like it!
I just got this tub and our 2 month old loves it! Whenever he's crabby at night I just fill this up and he stops crying as soon as he lays in it. He looks so comfy and he could just fall asleep in it. He doesn't slip around either so I don't have to worry so much. The only problem I have is that when it drains the soap builds up on the sling part, but I just spray it off with the faucet sprayer and wash it after every few baths.

Ok, except for the bump
I liked the tub at first, it's good for newborns. However, as she got older and weighed more, she started crying a lot in the bath. I took her out and noticed she had a big red mark on her back where the bump hit her. I tightened the straps as tight as possible, but it just stretches out again. I found that I had to put a towel there or hold her back so that it wouldn't be so uncomfortable. I probably wouldn't purchase this again.
Love this tub!
After trying 2 other tubs that were HORRIBLE, we tried this one. Our daughter is 5 1/2 months old, and can sit up fairly well. She's about 18 pounds and very long, so having enough space for her legs was an issue. We found that the other tubs we tried weren't long enough, nor were they very comfortable. She ended up with red marks all over her legs and back from other tubs, but this one was wonderful! There's enough room for her to sit up and splash and play, and there's still room to grow. And it does NOT leak like the Safety 1st 4-in-1 bath station, which we also have. I cannot rate the newborn/infant side of the tub, since she's already outgrown that stage, but the older baby side is definitely the best I've seen so far.

LOVE this bathtub
I am a mother of 2 and I fell in love with this tub. I bought it because it was cute but when I got home and used it I bought another to leave at my mothers house. The sling holds the baby so that their body is completely in the water and you dont have to worry about them getting cold, and it comes with 2 plastic inserts to hold newborns up so that they're not sliding in which was a big issue I've had with other tubs, and it has a hook so that after use you can hang it up to dry. It also comes with 2 bath toys and an indicator on the bottom that checks the water temp. for you. Whats not to love?

this tub is the ONE!
Save yourself the time and energy looking for a baby bath tub and head straight for this one. I'm so happy with this tub that I find myself making more time for bath time with my baby! First of all, it's just so darn cute. But seriously, here are my top reasons for loving this tub:

1) For the infant stage, no sling to mess with. Although a sling sounds nice and hammocky, you won't miss it. Sling issues from my experience include sagging, baby suspended over the nice warm water, not actually in it! Hard bumps for baby's tender back or bottom. None of those issues here!

Instead of the sling, it's much simpler...baby's back rests against the soft, oval padding you see in the picture. Baby is kept from sliding down into the tub by a removable ledge, which leaves more of baby actually comfortable and IN the water with legs free to move and kick, which makes bath time more fun and enjoyable! By the way, it will take a little muscle power (not a bad thing) to...

Great tub for the price!
I used a Safety First one for 2 sons and didn't like the small crevices in the end where soap and slime could eventually collect. I also didn't like that the no-slip rest was too low and one little kick from baby and he'd slide down into the water with his back over the butt rest. I checked out a Eurobath, but it is much to large for kitchen sink/counter bathing and stooping over a tub to reach a slippery baby isn't easy. But I know some people always think higher price means better quality. (This isn't always true!)

After searching I came across this, the 'butt-stop' is more adequate for babies and is removable for bigger kids. The surface has no small areas making bleaching/cleaning easy. It also fits securely onto the sink, better than any others I've tried. The only downside is there is no sling for spongebaths when they still have their umbilicle cords. They usually only have their cords a short time so that is alright with me in the long run.

UPDATE: After...
Mixed review depending on age
This was our son's first bath tub and we are still using it at 8 months. I gave it 3 stars because it worked better at certain ages than others.

NEWBORN:
We had to hold his head from flopping to the side and he was too short for his butt to rest on the green butt-bumper so it was functional but logistically a bit tricky. We stuck it on the counter in our bathroom and because it wasn't as large as some of the other tubs, it was workable.

3-5 MONTHS:
Before our son could sit up on his own this was the PERFECT time for this tub. His head rested comfortably on the green foam (although not too cushy, just a non-slip type pad), and his butt could rest on the green bumper to keep him from sliding down. The angle of the tub back was perfect so he didn't get water in his ears but we could fill the tub up to keep him warm. We still put a warm washcloth on his chest in the winter to keep him from getting chilled, but in a warm bathroom this wasn't necessary...

Great product, minor flaw that is easily fixed!
My husband & I purchased this bathing tub for our daughter when she was 3 months old.

We love it. I have nothing but good things to say about it. Hangs up so you can dry it behind your shower curtain, is low in the tub & lets the water surround your baby so it feels like they are back in the womb; thus keeping them calm/helping them calm down. Easy rinse off.

The onlf flaw I found in this is:

It has non-slip grips on the bottom, but I still feel that it moves around in the tub. The only times I have noticed that it moves is when I sit my daughter up in a sitting position to fully wash her back. The product then scoots forward with her movement. Also, depending on what kind of movement you are doing with your child in the tub or if you're swooshing the water around to entertain your child, I've noticed the tub moves slightly as well. This is not a problem for me because 1. I'm right there with my child & 2. it is easily fixed by not doing said motions...

Excellent for the bath.
For my first child we had a plastic tub that sat on the counter, what a mess! This is great, we fill the tub up 3 or 4 inches with warm water and our newborn can be placed safely in the tub, and easily washed.
Just what I needed!
I bought this because I needed a simple tub to help me bathe my 2 month old. We had a fancy inflatable one and it would not hold water. The price was perfect on this little bath and it fits my needs in every way. I know he will out grow it, but that holds true for most infant baths. I put it in the tub and fill it until the Hippo is about half submerged. That way baby gets to splash and feel the water without it getting in his ears. The Hippo can move a bit in the tub, but it's not like I plan on walking away and leaving baby in it. Also, once done, I shake off the Hippo and hang dry from a towel rack in the shower. Some other posters complained about mold smell, but I have not had this problem. If I do, I will simply spray it down with a water/bleach solution and rinse.
